Interview Feedback

Andrey is a developer with more than 8 years of development experience, he was a fullstack programmer, but for the last 6 years he has been working with python as a back-end developer. One of his biggest projects is SQLBAK - an American startup where he was developing a product for Linux from the very beginning of development, after 2 years the company released a release and the product became very popular, it had more users than its windows version, and Andrey was almost for two years engaged in its improvement and support.

For the last six months, he has been working at Itransition, where he is developing a product for an American customer. At the moment, the company has problems due to the circumstances in the world, the main office is based in Belarus and the company is trying to transfer developers to another country. Also, Andrey himself worked from the Kiev office of the company, but at the moment his condition is not known, and Andrey himself and his family left for a safe place in western Ukraine.

He is not actively considering changing jobs as development continues, but the fate of the project is in doubt. He was very interested in the vacancy, as he likes to do web / API scraping and likes working with data, the company's project itself interested him very much.

In the case of an offer, he will be ready to start working within 7-14 days. His salary expectations are 3500 GBP per month.

Work experience

Itransition

Python software developer

September 2021— To the present time (6 months)

Itransition is an out source company. Safety Vision is a project I’m involved. It’s a web app and based on miscroservice and serverless architecture. The project uses AWS services for that like API gateway as endpoints, lambda function as endpoint’s handlers, DynamoDB as DBMS, NeptuneDB as a graph db, S3 as a storage and Cognito for an auth. My responsibility is to write lambda’s functions on Python to cooperate with DBMS and storages.

The team consists of more than 10 members: PM, 2 team leads, 3 frontend developers, 3 backend developers, QA, 2 business analytic. We uses Kanban, Agile and Scrum methodologies. Also I have written many unit tests with python.
